Farm Walk with Peter French at Deane House Farm

Find out how Peter French runs his 280ha farm! Peter sells pasture-reared beef (230 head), lamb, pork, chicken and eggs. He also grows wheat, barley, oats, oilseed rape and maize.

He has worked closely with RSPB’s Cath Jeffs on a Higher Level Stewardship agreement that finances the many ways that he helps wildlife on his farm and has applied for Countryside Stewardship this year to replace his expiring HLS.

The event will be outdoors – a farm walk will be followed by tea, cake and a chance to catch up with friends and neighbours back at Stokeinteignhead Village Hall (we can bring refreshments outside for anyone who would prefer this).
