Free Defibrillator Training

For those of you who live in Combeinteignhead, you will probably be aware that we have a defibrillator in the village at The Wild Goose Inn. Many of you may also have access to defibrillators more locally, or at work. But if the need ever arises, how confident would you be in using it? Would you hesitate that little bit too long to really make a difference?So this training could well be for you, whether you have never been trained or whether you need a refresher. You don’t need to be concerned if you have no prior knowledge because this training is aimed at people just like you; and a defibrillator is quite an intuitive piece of equipment.
This will be a 2 hour awareness session covering the basics of the defibrillator, showing how it works.
The training is free but we request you consider making a charitable donation to The Royal Lifesaving Society UK. Facilities will be available to donate on the day or you can go to: https://www.rlss.org.uk/how-to-donate.
PLACES ARE VERY LIMITED, SO YOU WILL NEED TO REGISTER YOUR INTEREST FOR A PLACE ON THE COURSE. Please email julia_evans@mac.com. Places will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis so, we are sorry, but registering your interest does not necessarily guarantee you a place.
