Combeinteignhead Village Hall
Combeinteignhead Village Hall was presented to the village by Major Whiteway in 1926. It is the hub of activity in the village and hosts everything from upholstery classes and sea scouts meetings to keep fit classes and private parties.
The village hall is the perfect venue for wedding receptions, discos, fairs and barbecues. The hall has been upgraded several times since it was originally built. Light and spacious, it has 109 square metres of centrally heated space which can accommodate up to 120 seated guests. There is a sizeable, modern kitchen with a large induction range, microwave and industrial dishwasher, therefore ideal for catering. There is also a fully functioning and licensed bar.
Take a look at some of the events we have held at the village hall at this gallery of photos.
Outside is a substantially-sized paved patio with ample power points for summer lunches or BBQ parties. There is a private car park in the grounds of the hall and further parking is available in the adjacent public car park. There is also a lush lawn and well-maintained play park suitable for children of all ages.
For smaller parties, there is a committee room perfect for meetings of up to 10 people or a larger room that is regularly used for Pilates and Yoga and can accommodate meetings of up to 24 people.
We can provide tables and chairs for up to 80 guests with a full service of crockery, cutlery and stemware. We can also recommend excellent local caterers and arrange friendly bar and waiting staff. Hire rates start at £8.00 per hour and are dependent upon the size of the event and the facilities required.
